Turkey Begins Automatic Exchange Of Country-by-Country reports With The United States

The Official Gazette published Presidential Resolution No. 6033, dated September 13, 2022, setting the effective date for the Automatic Country Reporting Exchange Agreement with the United States of America, signed in November 2021. Presidential Decision No. 6033 establishes that the Agreement is effective for tax periods beginning on or after January 1, 2019, consistent with the provisions of the Agreement.

It should be noted that the automatic exchange of country reports between Turkey and the United States was previously approved by Presidential Decision No. 5191 dated February 13, 2022.
